Cupola & Carillon Enclosure - Plummer Building, Mayo Clinic Campus, Rochester MN
Late afternoon lighting shows off the outstanding architectural highlights of the top level of the Plummer Building. A pair of nurses is placed at each corner, above the large gargoyles. The fifty-six bells of the Rochester Carillon are installed behind the columns beneath the cupola.

That extra bit of ornamentation on the pinnacle of the cupola? It's a peregrine falcon. Closer view available in another image in this gallery.
